Event Data Recorder Video
To better understand what Event Data Recorders are, how they work, what data they record, when data will be recorded and how it is retrieved, we have prepared a video that provides an explanation with demonstrations.
This video shows you how to read the graphs and charts presented by the data recovery program and insights on how to utilize the data. Crash tests, in slow motion, are shown to aid in
understanding various time points such as first contact, algorithm enable and deployment
command.
Find out the conditions that will result in a recoverable data record and situations where a data record will not be created and why. You will also see when data records may not be representative of the conditions at the time of the accident and how this can happen. Two methods to retrieve data are demonstrated.
It can be used for your own information, to educate your staff or as an introduction to a jury where Event Data Recorder evidence will be presented at trial.
